Just heard that the long awaited CJS Tungsten jigs are soon going to be available.They are filling all their vendors and stores and then you should be able to get them off their website.Very nice jigs that finaaly will be available after a quality issue.They chose to discontinue selling them previously because they wanted a quality jig with no quality issues.Great Company to deal with.Cant' wait.

No you won't until like I mentioned, they fill their orders from their retail stores.I found out this last nite when my friend who is a tackle distributor showed me his new Catalog and he has them.For now only in the Size 4mm/ 14 size hook.If you go on their ( CJS) website at the bottom of the page you can sign up for an e mail signup and they will let you know when they are in stock from them.

Well I guess better late than never. Everyone is jumping on the tungsten bandwagon now. Northland has another tungsten jig out, JB has a new one and Kodiak is back in the tungsten game again. I am sure I missed a few.

Not sure its a bandwagon thing as much as it is a law thing.. I know in MA you cant use anything under an ounce made of lead.

You can still use lead in the majority of the states in ice belt so I do not know how much the recent laws in other states have affected. There is a size and weight advantage with tungsten vs lead and I always figured that is why most anglers like myself like them over lead on a lot of jigs. Thus the companies caught on with that demand. Who knows. I have been using tungsten jigs for alot of years already since when pickins were slim. The ice mags and websites have been discussing tungsten quite a bit over the last few years also.

We can use lead here, and I use it all the time. But I like a tiny tungsten jig for when I hit bluegill only ponds that are full of smaller fish. They drop like a rock. My favorite is a little red one, size 14 hook.. no clue what brand it is. It falls to 20 feet faster than any of my lead jigs. It weighs a ton. Its the size of a #BBB steel shot.

There is 3 maybe 4the that glow. If you got the 2013bigger guide its on page 29. I think 06,10,11,12 glow

I have been using Wolfram Jigs for some time now. The only complaint I have about them is the eyelet size. Some of them are very hard to get your line through. Looks like Custom addressed that issue for me!

I picked up half a dozen of Northlands new Fire-Ball tungsten jigs today and am not really impressed with them. The hook on every single one of them is dull as hell and will not even catch on my fingernail. I am going to have to resharpen every one of them. Plus they are made in china. Paint is nice but the eyes are painted shut. If the CJ&S jigs are sharp buy them vs the Northland.

I work at fleet they are 1.79 each some stores have them some don't yet. Everyone will have them in 2 weeks.

I got 2 of the glow chekia jigsnfrom cjs. The hooks are extremely sharp so no worries there. I bought mine from thiesens but only got 2 as I don't want to buy a whole button load if I didn't like them
