Common sense reminder

Just a reminder with the snow coming in this weekend, the DNR recommends at least 6" of ice for snowmobiling and I know for sure that south of 95, we don't have 6" yet, probably not even south of 23.  With that being said, I have $50 saying that some moron goes through this weekend.

I live in the SE corner of the state, was out
checking ice yesterday, the most I found was about
1.5-2". I was able to walk on the 2" stuff, but
I don't go far - maybe 5' out. And that was because I
knew it was shallow where I did it.

The ice isn't close to being ready down here. and the
snow that is in the forecast isn't going to help.....

It's natures way of killing off the weak & stupid.  Only problem is it gives us all a bad name or restrictions or rules posted that mess it up for the rest of us!
