Goof for you for getting access to Friends lake. There is no public access so renting property with lake rights is the only way. Friends has perch, panfish and pike to my knowledge. I hope the fishing is better than at Loon. I used to fish Loon a lot up to 12 years ago and did well enough 20 years ago with descent sized perch, enough average sized pike to keep it interesting and an occasional walleye. The fishing has gone way downhill at Loon in the past 10 years, probably due to overfishing especially early in the ice season when kit is one of the first lakes to freeze. At 440 acres it can't tolerate that kind of fishing pressure, so I gave up on it. Hopefully Friends lake has more fish than Loon.
