I know this doesn't prefer to ice fishing,

but im going down to Dunkirk sunday morning to do some trout fishing.

i was wondering what they are hitting.


if anyone has any info. it would be nice

   if you have any scan that would be my first choice.then go to pink egg sacks.we been killing the stealheads in gowanda for a couple weeks creek just got muddy.let me know how you do .thanks

and was thinkin about trying some wax worms also they work really in the LO tribs.


i want to get a nice like 8 pound bow or brown. so were leavin saturday night staying all night
and coming back afternoon.

  from the blue bridge up to union street got all fish on scan pink egg sacks.going to d/ville in am catch eye or 2.

so im guessing that the pink scan is the way to go.


had some at the beginning of the year in the fall, then used it all on Salmon off the olcott piers.


but thats a nice steelie out of SBH.

never caught one out of lake erie alone, a bunch from teh LO Tribs.

trying someting new this year

fresh skein 2 sides put in 1 quart jar then 1 cup of sugar 4 drops of food coloring let set up for 12hours .then you will pound the catturgus stealheads.thats a promise.

CHUBBER your killing me with all your secrets about scan[scein] catch fish and freeze scein like we always do and it keeps for along time you are the one that taught me that thaw on dash on the way to dunkirk at 3:30 am and kill the scamainians!!!! oh ya long rods rule

well the platform sunday had 2 other people on it besides me and my neighbor. and they were in one corner i was in the middle and my neighbor was on my right. didn't have one tangle. and i had a 10' rod lol.

but liek i said next time ill be on a boat, and thats Friday

tried the current, trolling drifting. everything. sitting still with egg sacks on bottom or just off the bottom with bobbers. we didnt get one
