What is going on with this weather? I hunted Sat. in cold blowing snow wake up Sun. and it's in the 50s and will be for a good portion of the week. I just want to get out on the ice and catch some fish is that too much too ask?

yeah this stinks 50 plus degrees and cant even enjoy it! Its dark before i get out of work

Try to be patient - Next week there is a very large push of cold air forecast too move south across the entire US, pushing teens all the way to southern New Mexico!

I think this will be the beginning of winter once it sweeps across the country.

Better than nothing, i cant catch a fish from shore to save my life. think i am 0for4 in my last outings.

You know, the weather is what it is. In the mean time there are streams and lakes out there that you can still open water fish.

be carefull what you wish for. you will have plenty of ice to fish on. Its still very early. and winter comes back weds. night. Like the guys are saying ,when god gives you lemons, make lemonaid. Deer hunting is not over yet.In upstate Ny you will be on the ice by Christmas

I hear ya man! I scouted some areas near town that I would be fishing this week if it stayed like last week. Maybe we can hit some "early" ice when it does come!
