Just curious what are some of your favorite places to fish during softwater season?

Mine is Seneca Lake during softwater.

The battenkill and metowee. One of the few advantages to living in washington co. is living close to these rivers.

I have taken a liking to Silver lake, not only because it is very close to me, but I am finding the lake will reward you once and a while if you put your time into it.  It can leave you pulling your hair out most of time though.

But generally speaking, if it's water, and I can get my boat in it, I love to fish it   ;D   I love the challenge of variety.

Canandaigue lake as soon as the ice is out of the launch is great.  Also honeoye is a guaranteed 30 bass a trip in the summer

i've had great luck for largemouth on Honeoye in the month of April. one year i caught 83 bass and only fished from 10am-2pm. tried again the same time of year the following year and barely got anything. weird how that works.

Keuka, obviously, is where i spend most of my time (lakers in the winter, largemouth in april, smallies from may-october)

i have a few small secrete ponds locally that i hit locally.  ;)

I've got 4 lakes within 5 miles of my house, Conesus, Hemlock, Canadice, and Honeoye Lakes.
Hemlock is my favorite, followed closely by Conesus.
