-
I had a hard time finding it last year, haven't looked yet this year, but I am looking forward to it.
-
Yeah, I just picked up the Pike issue but my local bookstores and mag shops dont have the ice issue yet. I guess it will have to be a daiy check....these issues always cost me money!
-
Sorry to hear ya cant find the mag.I found it at a local wegmans grocery store in Corning New York .Probably not do on the shelf till this week most places but the company likes to get a jumpstart on the competition .
-
Wasn't in the Rochester area Wegmans as of last Wednesday night - I checked.
-
It was'nt in Wegmans this morning in West Seneca, I'll keep looking.
-
i had a hard time finding it last year, and when i finally found a place that did have them, they had no more!
anyone know of a place in batavia (or close by) that has them or will have them? or can you order it online direct?
-
If you buy the current issue (Pike) there is a form you can fill out and special order the ice issue. Even on the IN-Fisherman website they dont have this issue listed yet. Only the PIke and Walleye issues
-
Picked up a copy yesterday at Barnes & Noble
-
AHHH Sucess, it came in today in Chapters/Indigo. Looks good
-
I picked mine up today at lunch time. ;D
-
Man, I have been checking in 10 different stores 2-3 times a week for a month now and can't find it. You can buy it directly from their website, but they want 8 bucks for it. Is that the price at the news stand? If so, it had better be one special magazine.
-
That one on the website is from 2004 its a back issue. The new one is 4.99 Us or 6.99 CDN. I cant find it on their site at all, thats why I was surprised to see it in stores
-

-
Its in at Wal Mart in New Hartford Ny there about 10 issues..
-
Wegmans is Johnson City has them. Got mine today. It will be a good weekend after all. IC
-
Henrietta Gander has them. They must have just gotten their ice shipment in - the pallets are on the floor, ready to be unpacked. No spikes tho, and I need some for this weekend >:(
-
They were putting them on the rack when I walked up at Wally World in Oneida. Couldn't have timed it better. I was doing a fire inspection at the Herb Phillipsons (A Central NY Army Navy store) warehouse on Wed. and noticed a couple of pallets marked "ice fishing". I pointed it out to my partner, and the warehouse manager said he just got 8 pallets in. I told him I had room in my garage for a pallet or two if he needed the extra space.
-
After I ordered mine on line the wife wanted to go barns & nobles, there on the shelf it was. Now I have to waite a week.

Hey Guys: 2nd year I decided to order (October 1) via the internet in the hopes of receiving my copy before it hit the bookstores/newsstands. No such luck!!! I called Primedia and was told it was backordered??? I informed the rep that they were already in stores. She told me I was mistaken ??? I then contacted the In-Fisherman to find out what was up. The women I spoke with said she would check it out and get back to me. About 1 hr later, the phone rang and she (In-Fisherman rep) informed me that a glitch had occured and I should be receiving my copy in the next few days.
Moral of the story...............Wa it till the mag shows up in stores. Ordering it online (last year and present) does not work :(
-
Great thanks Wayne. Gotta hit up that store or see if the one on Wolf Rd. has them too. That's closer than toga.
Rite on John, I would bet that Wolf Rd. should have plenting of them to go around.
There is some really good stuff in there, tons of new tackle reviews, and some newly tactics. But, all knew that nice drop points with cabbage on it will hold fish and sunken islands, LOL.
Looks like a good article on daytime walleye fishing, yea it would be nice if they would only bite during the day too. ;)
-
i got mind today
-
i got mind today
now side down with a highlighter, like I did last night and start reading. There is so much info in there, highlight key stuff so you can go back and spot read with the ice gets here. My head was bouncing from walleye to crappie to pike and I think I hit overload. ;D
-
Yeah Wayne but just think how many more fish you'll be able to catch with that knowledge matched up to your fishfinder.
Yea. it's like playing a fishing video game, just can't tell what that will come out of the hole next. ;)
-
Ha, that's when the plan includes your new aqua view. ;D
Did you get one, pick me to go with ya next time. ;) ;D Can't wait to hit the ice together, with a the cool and neat toys you got. ;D
