Shappell Bay Runner
« on: Feb 03, 2021, 01:30 PM »
Who has the Shappell Bay runner?

I just bought one and am looking for ideas to add conveniences.

I've used it a couple times and realize it needs rod holders and coat hooks.

I've already installed LED strip lights and in the process of building a storage shelf underneath the electronics shelf.
I am also planning on making a removeable shelf to go above the electronic shelf to put my Eagle Claw Rod Case on.

Any and all ideas are welcome.

Oh, I already have a Smitty Sled built for it also.

Thanks,

I haven't done much to mine except I bolted a small piece of angle to my heater and put studs on my electronic shelf. I secure the heater with wing nuts. Stops it from falling and burning things when I move around.
For rod holders I screwed 3" pieces of 1 1/2" pvc to the front of the shelf.

Dude.....Dude!! Greg! Wake up! You're on fire!

Mac47,
Thanks for the post. I think I've watched your video a few times already. Got some good idea and I have started on a few of them.

Not sure if you've seen my mod thread or not... It's an older thread from back when photobucket was much better, but all the stuff for the most part is there...
