so this may be a roumor idk for sure i have herad this from a few pple that echo lake in charleston this past weekend a kid from RI caught a 27.8 pound laker on a bucktail jig......... any truth to this let me kno

Well, if it is, then good for him. Nice fish. I haven't heard of any, but then again, alot of good fish caught, don't make the local papers.

You have the kids name? I got a cousin, who own's a place, on echo.

it was suposedly caught off fishermans rock idk the kids name he was 13 and was using a big buck tail jig thats all i kno his dad helped him pull it in

If this story has some truth to it, that is a hog. There was a 29.87 pound laker cought there in 1999.
I am interested to see the true or false verdict
