Northland fire-eye grub, in super glow parakeet.  Something about that color combination and presentation was irresistible.  Northland forage minnows just are not the same.

The 1st run foxee jigs with the marabou in between the twin tail. Killed the trout around here in white and green until they changed them. I still have a couple I look at alot but can't bring myself to use them in fear of losing them. To many memories of big cuts breaking me off

If not limited to ice fishing stuff, mainly just lures...if I remember the correct names

Yozuri Bass Arms lures... manufactured by Duel lures.
Yozuri Aile Goby and Killifish lures.
Bomber Slab spoons.
Rapala minnow spoon
Northland Forage minnow jig with the original fine wire hook.
Storm Flutterstick

Frabill ice shuttle.  Not sure why they cant bring this back as is or with a few modern changes like a hyfax type bottom, and perhaps a few storage upgrades?

Southbend Microlite rod. I inherited my great grandfathers ultralight and love it. It has changed icefishing for me, can see all the bites I keep hoping to stumble on another someday.

Yep originals were great.

If you like the old ones, check the outlet store in Spirit Lake Iowa they had a few originals last year but most were gone. My buddy got to 7’ Medium uglysticks for $20 a year ago for his planer boatd rods.

Frabill Stow Away tip ups. Not the greatest on the market quality or greatest in wind and freezeup but you could store 5 of those in very very little space. I'd buy 5 more in a heartbeat

Just wondering, if the spoon type augers were still available, would they be a little easier on and work with a cordless drill  ???

The original Worth company tip-ups.  The gray tubular tip-ups with a magnet on the spool and bottom of the plastic pop-up flag.  The new ones sold by HT (I think) are junk by comparison.  Glad I still have 4 working originals.  The old ones are rare now and pricey if you find them on fleaBay once in a great while.

Might have to feather the trigger on the drill to get it started but, I bet it would work. I saw a brand new one on Craigslist not too long ago even had the box.

Kind of what I was thinking. If you got it good and sharp it would probably cut like butter and less chance of snagging up at the bottom of the hole.  If I ran across a good deal on one I would certainly give it a try.

I have to agree with the Grub Getters. My friend who owned a bait shop passed away and I bought the six he had in stock from his widow. I think I may have enough of them for a long time to come.

The St.Croix premier ice rods. Those blue rods are awesome and now discontinued. I usually buy all the medium and medium heavies I come across for lakers and big 'eyes.
