New predator vs citadel

I can't seem to see the $150 difference between the two. Both side steps, thermal, same fishing sq. ft. Predator is 30 lbs heavier. Is it just the 1" poles vs 1 1/4"?? Anyone have any luck with either of these?

Can get both of them either way. I figured it out. The predator has a thicker material and bigger diameter poles. I ordered up the predator sidestep thermal today from basspro. Can't wait to pick it up!!!

Predator is a heavy duty shack. Citadel is the little brother. But still a very nice shack. Your getting what pay for here. Couldn't tell ya the best bang for the buck  but the predator is no joke. It's heavy for sure but it's a beast. Side step is such a great concept. wish I had one. Maybe next year. If I were to buy a heavy duty shack it'd be the predator or the otter resort. Im sure you won't be disappointed.

The cheaper one said it has a alloy Fram and the other has aluminum.  I think it said the bases are different also

thank you guys! i ordered up the predator thermal cant wait for it to come in. I ordered everything up to make a power box for it. Im going to install LED lights inside while i wait for the lakes to harden up.

How is it holding up and what are your thoughts about it now?
