For Those Still Waiting For Ice..........................

These pics should drive you crazy!!!!
I figured I would take a few ice thickness photos to drive you nuts while I was out on the lake today.
Enjoy!!!   ;D



When I finished drilling this hole there was still another 6" to go before I hit water!!!   :woot:




The top of the flighting on my 10 1/4" Strikemaster bit ended up 2 or 3 inches below the top on the ice when it finally punched through. So that's about 30 inches of ice and it's not even the endof December yet!!!  ;D

Ever have trouble getting big piles heads started up the hole with super thick ice? I have ran into trouble with it

ice report here in NY is 0-3 inches, also says most guys launced their boats for the early perch. an of course its gonna be in the 40s tomarrow.  :%$#!: man i wanna be fishin already (esp since i got a new gas auger for christmas)  ;D

I don't know what to say. This is one of the funniest posts I've seen. Some of the spots I fish would be frozen to the bottom with 30 inches. Holy footware, indigenous people!!!
