Well I havn't been on much, but I posted about a year ago that I had to fish through "your eyes", till i come home from Iraq, Thanks for the pics by the way. Well.............. I'm coming home! Just a short stop in Georgia, then on leave back home to the Finger Lakes for some long over due fishing! Going to hit the fields hard for Geese as well. If anyones interested in a goose hunt, I have all the gear and fields if you want to swap for a fishing trip (crappie/pearch, boat/ice. It don't matter!

I'm not interested in a goose hunt, but you're more than welcome to head up this way once the ice sets for some fishing here on Chaumont Bay. Name the species...

Welcome home brother and good luck with them honkers. as far as the fishing trip i would be honored to take you out for some delicious pan fishing. if you are ever in the albany area shoot me a pm and we will litter the ice with em.

just drove through the finger lake region for thanksgiving, and they are well on there way.....here is a pic.... not sure excactly where it is but its ice...

Send me a PM when you settle in if you 'd like .I live in the Finger Lakes area and I'm certain we can pull together some folks that will give you some great days on the ice .I fish with a crew that include several other Vets and there are many of us from Vietnam through the current War Vets and non vets that would be honored to have you on the ice with us. I'm willing to bet there would be some venison grilled ands some adult beverages involved along with the fishing.
A few of us have been talking about doing a day on the ice to bring Veterans together to fish,shoot the breeze and have a little fun.
