Forcast looks good for early ice!!!!!!!
« on: Dec 04, 2005, 11:24 AM »
The weather forcast this week is looking good for an early start to the season this year . All this week is going to be below freezeing and the nights are in the teens and 20s I am very excited about this.   NO SNOW PLEASE!!! just cold   Im ready! Braddocks bay will be first to freeze as usual,I had heard from the owners of the marina that they were going to dredge the channel to 4' deep that will help the fish get over the sand bar all winter. ;)                                                                                                                                                                    Good luck! Be safe!   The"FishinFoool"

if y'all are heading to Alma this weekend be careful on that far side..  there are 4 or 5 springs that will have the thin ice.   it may be fine on the near side..  you'll get a false sense of security and down ya go on the far side.  but then again, it's only 6 feet deep..   ;D

across from teh launch area..  all along that hillside.  when there's 10" of ice in the middle of the pond there'll be 8" at the springs.  they're a good place to fish though.  ;)
