Moving to the Plattsburgh area.
« on: Dec 02, 2005, 02:41 PM »
Hi guys,

Long story short, I lost my job a few months ago  :'( but I am sure now it was a blessing in disguise.  I was lucky enough to find a job up north with even more ice to fish! I start December 12 and plan to be moving the family up some time shortly after. I am looking forward to meeting many new friends and I have been lucky enough to meet a great man from Iceshanty.com up there already. His screen name is applejacks and is from the Plattsburgh area. He has been an incredible help in this transition period and I look forward to many hours of both hunting and fishing with him and many more new friends.

With that said, In the past few years I have made some really good friends in the CNY area as well and I hope that we can all keep in touch and hopefully still find some hardwater time together a few times a year.

Looking forward to a great new adventure

Good luck with the new job and ice fishing opportunities!  I was hoping to meet you on C-rago on the ice this year, but maybe some other time and place.  Good luck!

George
I want to wish you and your family all the best in this new adventure. You will love it up there my sister used to live there right on the Saranac River. I visited there about 5 times and loved every trip up there. Congratulations on the new job too.

Thanks SB and I am sure we will be fishing together again this winter.

Thanks Ol crawdad, I would be surprised if we didn't meet there some time last year but even if we didn't I think you might see me come down to fish a few times this winter. Those perch are addictive!! ;)

Thanks CF and if you find yourself up that way please look me up!!

George,

While I probably won't get to fish with you at home anymore  :-\ , hopefully we can fish (or hunt) together quite a bit during my tenure at PSC.  I wish you the best at your new job, and settling into your new home.   ;) :) Best wishes, and keep in touch!

Have fun up there, Bussman.  It's a lot of fun up there, and I miss it every day.  Try and save a few perch in Kings Bay for me in case I ever make it back up that way.
