ice coming or not?

What all you pros think about the weather?  Lake Erie going to get ice or not? 50degrees sucks!!!

I am not an expert, but I would say not this year, I could be wrong, it depends on the water temps. we will need a long hard freeze for at least a month to get safe enough ice.

I hope that it does freeze so I can make a trip up there to Erie with a few buddies. Cmon cold. Hurry up.

Like I told swedish pimple, I hate to say it but I am ready for spring! If I can't have ice,I want warm weather, A buddy an I went fishing in a private pond yesterday and it was all open water, we didn't even get a bite.  We might take the boat out this weekend and try that same pond.

I hope Erie freezes too as I'd love to be able to use my Ohio license again before it expires.Gotta get some more Walleyes

I hear you.Nothing like a hog walleye being pulled out of the ice on erie.

Next week forecast looks good, if we can stay below freezing, for a couple more weeks, Erie might get good by early to mid Feb. Water was cold this fall but all this warm rain can't help. We all need to pray to the ice gods.

I know for a fact the ice is coming , starting to get some ice around the Islands. Went out New Years day and caught 60 blue gills in two and half hours.By next weekend  we will be cleaning alot of fish, so just wait it out for another week or two, the weather forcast looks great

Great news, they are starting to fish around the Islands as we speak!!!!!! Heading out on Sunday morning to check it out. Sandusky Bay is locked up and I spotted some one out fishing already.
