Making a trip to twin bridges after a bit and would like to know what lake you guys would fish, Clark canyon or G-town? Taking my dad out for his first ice trip tomorrow and would like to get on some fish. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Clark Canyon would be easier to get to of the those two lakes.  However your best bet would probably be the Ruby Reservoir, 20-30 minutes from Twin.  Good fishing, easy access!

yeah, never been to Georgetown area. Gonna head up there. Heard Denton's can be good at times. Is everyone just using perch type jigs and maggots?

Scroll through the Georgetown pages... there is more info on that page than any of the others so you will find what you need there.  Maggots are the go to bait. White ones are all you need. Salmon fishing has been way more challenging the last few year. In the past it wasn’t a big deal to catch a hundred 8” kokes but that hasn’t  been replicable the last few years. But if you guys know how to fish you should be able to get “some”. Denton’s is more trout than salmon... as is the pump house. The salmon at these two location are 4 year old fish and are spawning and in terrible condition. Maybe try other spots on the map... check the 20’ depth range. It’s late enough in the season the Salmon will be stratified and most of them will likely be about 7’ under the ice. All the places people have caught fresh salmon have been hit and miss this year. You will pick up some but but like I said, a bucket full isn’t likely...best thing about gtown you should at least have consistent action with the trout. A red Swedish pimple will cat has many fish as anything. Add a fly or something tiny above it will also up your odds.

Decided not to go to G-town because of the roads. Looked at the ruby and clark canyon. Both had bad shore ice. Couldnt convince them it was safe to go on. So no fishing for us, at least on sunday. Looking forward to this weekend though.
