Are your talking about the VS560 or is there something newer and improved? The VS560 is the "high end" model I saw on their web site.

I e-mailed Marcum the following:

"Hi, Rumor has it (Iceshanty.com) that you have a new high end underwater viewing system coming out. Is there something other then the VS560? I checked your web site and didn’t see anything. Looking to upgrade from Auqa view and wondering what you guys have coming out."

and they replyed:

"We do not have a new camera system coming out at this time."   

Soooo, not sure what your buddy had purchased for your shack  . The VS560 has had a few upgrades within the last year I think.

This year they came out with a new 260. Its not better than the 560 but it is cheaper and is the camera version of the VX-1. Gives you everything you need at a price that is lower than the high end stuff.
