color fishfinder vs vex
« on: Nov 21, 2005, 07:40 AM »
I here an awful lot about how great vexilars are.I have a sitex 106 color fishfinder that was originally bought for saltwater fishing.I have since used it for icefishing and seems to work pretty well.I can see my jig down to 100 ft or so and can see fish coming and going.I've thought about getting an fl-18 but can't seem to justify the cost if I'm not going to see anything different.having never seen one in action its hard to know the pros of buying one.what am I missing?also, just bought an aqua-vu sv-100 and can't wait to see that in action.mostly clear water here in Maine so I'm hoping I won't be dissappointed.
