There's plenty of spots, structure, and fish out in the deep water. Just gotta do your homework. put the flags away Pack light and just start punching holes. And move move move until you find fish. But it's honestly a waste of time without a flasher or some sort of fish finder.

I was out on Lake Arthur this past Monday with a buddy, off of Prospect Road near Lindey Road, for a couple of hours. It was our first time out for the season and stayed only about 3.5 hours. We both snagged up a decent sunfish but nothing more, still a great time :)

The one thing I took away from the day was that the sunfish were fighting pretty good, so I imagine they are still some what active.

I look to get back out there next week to try a new spot, might even bring a fish finder!!

Stay Frosty!!

Forgot to add that I was fishing with a 1/32oz Chartreuse Glow jig with a wax worm, I was working it pretty good when the sunfish hit on the descent. I tried some small spoons too.

Maybe its time to take a long walk off nealys points at dust - set up 5 Tip ups with Shiners and hunker down until I catch something or see the sun rise

I use to ride on the lake years ago when I rode bike too fat now.we would take some used tires and screw screws from the inside out than put tube back in and ride it was pretty cool you can really go .perfectly flat.onley did it later when I new the ice was thick.

ssssssshhhhhh secret is out ;D yes i do deflate my minis the small bait gets tons of action ;) and the gulp attractors get equal action had the tails bit off :o we fished yesterday it was a slow pick but as the dominator says stayed all day to limit out  :flex:  plus 2 ginormous pickle cats one pert near 10 lbs :)  on another note the only thing that changed ie the snow cover ???  could it be why the action slowed down just sayin
GOD BLESS YOU

LOL. probably not, you've got to love the confidence.

Mo, take Italian salad dressing us that instead of olive oil on both sides of your fish then season to takes, and finish with parmesan just prior to taking out of the oven.   I'm a big garlic fan, sometime I'll mince the garlic and mix it with the dressing then apply.  If you have not grilled it you're missing out, charcoal only please.

Ran into some nice Paper mouths in Watts Bay ... I was using size 16 long shank hooks with a green bead and brown sparkle dubbing tied on with light blue tread tipped with a green crappy nibblet.
