2 wd four wheeler
« on: Jan 11, 2016, 07:20 PM »
Looking at getting a 2 wd four wheeler for around the farm and would also be used for ice fishing. Anyone else use a 2wd? Thinking it would be fine if snow isn't too deep and I would be using chains on it.

As a kid my dad had one and we used it a lot...if the snow isn't too deep they work great...if the snow gets deep chain it up.

Just chain it up. If it gets too deep park it. How long did they build atc's and atv's before they made 4x4? It's a nice option, but not necessary.
Look at me I can walk on water

Couple of plastic runners on the front wheels and your set.

Thanks I was thinking it should work if the snow isn't too deep. Would only be hauling small pop up shack, hand auger few rods and flasher. I'm sure guys used the old 3 wheelers years ago.
