I do believe the ice will be in jeopardy, went for a swim sat nite, only up to my shoulders on the north end. The ice was in the main body 5'' to 6 '', we were marking fish from 17' to 10' tight lipped. I have notice excessive litter & trash. I dont know we can educate these fellows that don't respect the enviroment or respect our upcoming youths, its very disappointing

Drainage "creek" comes out on right side about 1/2 way down, fish there a lot so I know most "cautionary" areas.

I am on the chain of lakes, just to the south, that feed into Long Lake (in Reading). Half of the ice on at least one of those lakes has receded and is  completely gone, open water. My favorite spot (that I last fished on Sun. on 4"-5" of ice) is completely open water.
Even with the low temps it is not freezing because of the high winds.

Another of the lakes looks OK, at least there is no obvious problem, of open water, but I would not venture out yet.
Without open water, hopfully, that lake will be making ice the next few days.

Reading tip-up is this weekend and I still hope to get out for that.

A lake I fished last weekend to the west where there was 5" ice is wide open today, nothing at all.  I doubt with the wind it will ice over this yr even with the cold temps.
