It's not the size of the hole, it's what you pull out of it! 

Those are actually sixes, hoping my pocket book can afford a 4 stroke lite this year! I better start saving my pennies now!

I don't think our whitefish would fit through a 6 inch hole let alone a trout. Absolute minimum is 8" with 10" the norm and some folks have 12 inchers.
There are some lakes in the area that produce trout that won't fit through 12" holes.     
And then there are the pike that can get over 50"!!!
We grow em big up here!!
