How do you post a picture?

You need to upload them onto a hosting site like photobucket, then they have their own url.

Theres a picture posting "how to" thread here somewhere.

those are fish elevators. I use them to clean slush out of the holes and to bring my fish into the shack , like a net...here is a link.

I wish I could build something like this. I bought it from the guys that make sport shacks. If you have never met them google them on the internet. Great guys up there!!!

Its almost finished,   Roof trusses are now on,  75% of siding is complete, and the tin roof goes on this weekend,     I wont finish the inside this year,  I think I will save that for the "off season"

Got to open a xmas present early this year @)

Now I just need some ice :'(
Well let me tell you something now, Johnny. Last Thursday, I turned 95 years old. And I never exercised a day in my life. Every morning, I wake up, and I smoke a cigarette. And then I eat five strips of bacon. And for lunch, I eat a bacon sandwich. And for a midday... Bacon! A whole damn plate of it.....

No there ain't no moral. I just like the story

8' x 10' homemade. Roughcut cedar from a tree out back and Luan for the outer walls to keep it "lightweight". 2 inch insulation in the ceiling and walls, a Mr. Buddy heater, and sleeps 7 people.

Pics in the sig.

Some good looking shanties out there !!

  My bro's sleeping quarters for a night  ;D

We had to rope it off with reflective tape to keep the yahoos on sleds from using it as a jump !

I won't try this again ! ::)

It kinda stopped the wind, but won't try to sleep in it, again  :-\

the grey and green one weighs a ton !! doesn't get out very often, usually take the grey and red one - lighter and easier to move - but getting old, almost time to retire it!!

My buddy and I are currently building a new 8x8 shack, I'll get some pics when it's done! Floor and walls are done, just have to finish the roof and it'll be done. Then just wait for the ice to be thick enough to put it out.

built a new shanty this year with some left over supplies I have saved from work.  made it light weight this time. no plywood except on the floor, wall sheeting is half inch insulation glued to the metal studs.  after screwing the siding on it is very sturdy.  still need to put some kind of skis on it.  I have 4 old snowmachine skis that I might use by welding them onto a frame that the shanty sits on and I can take it off when I get it on the ice.  not sure yet ???
