Nice pictures Icebigboy! How many inches are left up there? I was told the gouin reservoir in quebec had 42 inches this year and I suspect it still has some ice left.

hi grump,the water where we fish is a little bit yellow but not so much.we take those one in 20 feet.normally we take them in 15 feet.
bean,still left 36 inches of ice.its not melting yet.we have snow on the ground as you can see!

we know that we are lucky

Nice fish you got there, Icebigboy, just the right size for eating, and I bet they tasted good!  Our ice is done here in southern Manitoba, but the open water general season starts in exactly 3 weeks, (May 14).  My boat is ready to go!!!!!
