Traveling through Northern Ontario...
« on: Apr 06, 2014, 10:21 AM »
Hello everyone,

I am from SK, and will be travelling on vacation From Saskatoon to the Maritimes with my wife.  On our first day we plan to leave Saskatoon around 4am and roll into Kenora around suppertime.  Our plan is to find a really nice(fairly cheap), quiet campground in the Keewatin/Kenora area.  One that also has the potential to see deer and Moose.

Anyone been camping/fishing in this area and know of some really nice spots to camp out?

If this post sounds a tad familiar, I did this exact same trip in the summer of 08, and was asking about wildlife sightseeing in Northern Ontario a few months before I left.
fishing - It's a religion, not a sport.

Kenora is gods country.  made the trip from GTA to alberta twice.  best part was Kenora slept in the RV at the truck stops.  didn't have time for camp grounds.
