Well it looks like winter outside today...my hunting season is over as well...we had a great hunting season at my camp, I finished the year with a Buck with my bow and a filled my doe tag...time to get ready for Christmas and wait for the crazy pre-ice frenzy...Keuka was definitely in my top 3 greatest ice places I have fished...Epic Epic action...I look forward to seeing some of you diehards out on the ice this year...My good buddy from the Navy is coming up this year from Georgia to ice fish with his son for the first time ever, I hope I am able to show him what it is all about!

Tried Godfrey last week and the water is so low you need to wade out there now. You're best bet is the canal where the bite has been on fire over the last week! Gold sonars have been producing very good numbers of eyes all times of the day.

That right there sums up my hunting season, very bad year in the trees for me. Hopefully with cold temps coming on now we'll be able to reach some spots in late January on Oneida. Have a safe and happy new year everyone.
