Maybe once...OK twice....was one of the only bennies working for myself for so many years. But usually just meant I had to work an extra day to make it up. So I didn't really win. Only once did I shoot a deer, that was hard to explain...

Traveling on the 4th,fishing the 5th & 6th and coming home the 7th. Hope to see you guy's.

To be honest I have no Idea. Walter pointed me to that neighborhood, Scott and Issiah both said they should be able to make it for a day no problem so I booked a room. I'm thinking there are Lakers and Pike up that way. I have never caught either.

Some decent lakers in there, Issiah is the expert on those lakes. He is a chain fisherman.....

Imagine the group photo shot from this get together. There is a couple of areas on 1st & 2nd that are loaded with 27-30" Northern Pike, w/ the occassional Big One (T. Muskie also) zillions of dink perch,w/ smelt in the mix. Some days are crazy running down flags, while others you have to be patient... It's real easy to jig up small perch for bait,, Real easy fishing, Just an Idea

I think being Superbowl weekend I (hopefully) Cheeks too can make it...probably just drive up for Saturday and learn a new fishing style...I have caught MANY MANY trout of different shapes and sizes, but never through the ice...I'm gonna put this one on the calendar and hopefully Cheeks can too...I'm not gonnabringthe Big Predator, I'll have to downsize with a smaller sled...
