Title: Lakes in ny that hold big lake trout

Hi im looking for lakes that i can walk to and fish for lakers. I don't have a snow machine so the finger lakes are out.. hope ya can help thanks!

Very few finger lakes will ever freeze up enough where I'd feel comfortable even walking much less snowmobiling on. ADKs are a good bet. Lake george is a very good one from what I've heard.
