This is a summer family favorite.
What you will need:
2 Large hothouse cucumbers seeded and sliced. (Use 3 if they run small)
¼ cup white vinegar
¾ cup thinly sliced red onion
½ Cup sour cream
½ cup Miracle Whip (Mayo works but grandma said to use Miracle Whip)
½ cup Philadelphia cream cheese
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Cut cucumbers in half lengthwise and scrape out seeds.

Slice cucumbers about ¼” thick.
Add cucumbers slices to a colander.
Add salt and toss well so cucumbers are coated.
Put in the sink and let stand for at least an hour to allow some liquid to drain off.

Quarter red onion and slice thinly.

In a separate bowl, whip together Sour Cream, Miracle Whip, vinegar and cream Cheese.

Add sugar, dill, and pepper

Whip until mixed well.

Place salted and drained cucumbers in a large bowl, add sliced onion.

Add creamy sauce to cucumbers and onions.

Mix with a rubber spatula until everything is evenly coated.
Chill in the fridge for about an hour.
Enjoy!
