Tipnspin tipups are a unique tipup, the flag spins as the fish pulls the line and can give you information from a hundred yds away, did the fish run and stop? How long has it ran? did it hit and steel the bait? We have redesigned Tipnspin tipups to make them better, they are now made from black plastic, shortened the over all length to make them lighter, less top heavy, made the flag wire shorter for less flag wobble, made the trip bracket more stout and redesigned the line guide. They will give you a lifetime life time of enjoyment if taken care of properly. Store them laying flat with the flag straight up not in the flag storage position. Also store them in a cool dry place with no direct sunlight.

Is this a new brand? I really like that you took a cross style tip up, and designed it so the flag rotates with the spool. It's not needed, but I definitely like to see it. I like that it looks like you have a larger spool on them. I really don't like the smaller standard spools, I like to get at least 75 yards of line on them. The one thing I don't like is that you flag looks pretty short. It can be kind of tough sometimes to see a 4" tall flag when they are 100 yards away. If you could change it so the flag was a good 12"+ tall then I would definitely be interested.

I had the chance to try mine yesterday. Unfortunately, I had no hits on it to see how it would perform. I too am curious as to how visible the flag will be from a distance. It MAY require me to paint it in a more florescent color. We'll see...no pun intended. I was also curious as to how well the tension settings on it would work. It's basically 2 "notches" that the tip of the flag sits in when you bend it over to load it. I used the first notch...which is the lightest. I used a fairly large and active sucker minnow as bait. It never tripped it...ala false flag. So that was good. It was also a calm day out so I was unable to see how it would work in windy conditions...like another false flag. Overall, it seems to be a solid, well constructed unit. More to come.
The pic shows it in the first notch.

I bought 2. I am very impressed.
These things are REALLY well made. They will certainly last well past my lifetime. And probably many generations.
I believe the 2nd flag notch is just for transport. Or really monster fish? ;-) And I don't see wind flags happening with these.
Thanks for a great, USA-made, product!
