I've been searching the IS forums for fishing reports in these counties and the info seems to be scattered around, so I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for these counties.
I will start it off with my report from last weekend. I fished Gilletts lake in Jackson county Saturday evening in about 15 fow near the county park and only caught a few small crappie and a small cat fish. Went back out Sunday evening and fished in 6 fow near the sandbar and caught a lot of small gills and about a dozen keeper crappie.
Going out to Wamplers this weekend to do a little pre fishing for the Midwest open, not sure if I can give a report on that though. ;D

Fished Portage in Pinckeny last weekend and caught 500 dinks. I think we kept 5 gills. Buddy is fishn there right now and killen em.
I'm headn out to Wamplers on Monday to do a little pre season scouting.

I fished Silver lake Saturday it was the best day on the ice so far.Caught some nice hogs and seen bigger ones that would not bit,but we caught a lot of fish in the three hours we were there!

I have been going to Devils and targeting eyes and crappie. Catching a few walleyeand then getting some nice crappie in the 9-11" range. 30 fow for eyes and 18-12 for crappie.

I fished Lake Columbia a few weeks ago and did pretty good. I caught quite a few eater gills, a good sized bass, and some decent crappie in about 12 fow. There was a guy fishing behind us that pulled up a really nice fat walleye.
