Perch fishing routine?
« on: Feb 02, 2005, 11:36 PM »
Ok Guys. I know everybody has there own method and routine for perch fishing. For me, I usually start with something big and flashy(pimple) or big and swimming(jigging rapala or Nils) and pound the bottom. My plan is get attention first. Then I switch to something smaller if they seem too intimidated.Bright colors first then I work my way down to natural colors if that doesnt work.I try all techniques from slow up and down movements to jackhammer jigging.Whats yours?

I start with my go-to bait, a perch-colored hali. Oftentimes I just stick with that...  ;D
Then I try small jigs, and then swimmers.
