Good lakes for stock trout through ice?

Anyone mind giving out some places to try for stocked trout through ice? Love jigging them up. In Eastern NY

I have never persued them but have read that Glen Lake and Lake Luzerne have stocked rainbows that can be caught just under the ice.

Arnold Lake is a good place to go when you can get on it, also Guilford Lake you'll have to look them up and see how far away they are from you.

I only have one lake I’ve had luck on and it’s very hit or miss. Was hoping someone could help with a few more to try

It does I agree. But not all stocked lakes hold those fish all summer. A lot of people know a lot of lakes that actually have trout to catch. DEC doesn’t tell you if a lake loses all its trout over the summer

Glen lake over by queensbury but it’s not necessarily a jigging trout place. A lot of people set tip ups over deep water and wait. I like the action

casterline pond  in homer  has  some  nice  hold overs and a  easy walk  good  place to  go  with  kids
