Normally I go for specks in the morning, whether soft water or hard, but I have a better chance of getting put in the evenings than mornings right now. Is it worth it to try a speck lake, or am I better off trying to find a different species to fish? Not a lot of our lakes are frozen yet so that limits too, more speck lakes than anything.
