Where i am fishing this weekend, you can only use live bait from the same watershed. well the only place to get bait is about 70 miles away, and i'm not going there to get bait for a day of fishing. I will be jigging for trout, and plan to use a minnow head as my bait. what are people's experiences using those preserved minnows that they sell at local sporting goods stores? i don't need anything live mind you, just something to tip my jigs with. tell me what you know.
