Inquiring Admin Help Please.

I'm a recently new member to Iceshanty.com. My father C-bisket has introduced me to the website. I'm having trouble being able to view his profile and some of his posts. Im gettin error messages.
This Error Example arises when I tried to open up a topic that he had sent me a link to:
An Error Has Occurred!
The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.

Also when I added him to my buddie list, so I could view his profile and follow some of his older posts I get this error message.
An Error Has Occurred!
You are not allowed to access this section

Not sure what the issue is, if I'm doing something wrong or its just some type of glitch. If there's any fix out there that some of the moderators know or admin, please let me know. Thank you.

Appreciate the help, I ended up calling my father, who is a avid user to this forum site. He said the same thing, hopefully with thanks of a post, I'll be considered a non-newbie to IceShanty.com.
