Annual Camp Trip
« on: Feb 27, 2023, 06:33 PM »
Last weekend was our annual trip to camp.  8 of us there by Thursday.   Little slow fishing. Probably landed 45 salmon in 3 days. Great food, one night being slow cooked prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes,  and grilled asparagus.

Pool winner was only 1.50lbs

First day group shot

Saturday had 2 planes fly over (1 twice) for the rare sighting of the Arctic Flamingo
Huh, pic won't load, try after its posted
Anyway, great time with the boys.  Hopefully a few trips in March with my daughter on break

Nice trip Darby. Roughly 45 salmon is not too shabby! I need to get over to camp. Thanks for sharing.

If you use your phone, the blue button below the text box should allow you to add a photo.

You gave away your location when you posted picture of Pittston Farm

That wasn't my post, I'm not at Pittston Farm. Quite a sled ride to my camp from there.  Lot of lakes an hour plus from that pic

That was me just checking to make sure I could post a photo according to my own suggestion. But, as spot burning goes, PF is a great place to stop for fuel and food.

That sounds like a great trip. 45 Salmon I wouldn’t call a slow weekend. Those annual trips with friends and family are a blast.

No size, biggest was 1.5lbs.  Most were 14" even caught one that was maybe 7"  not really caught, he held onto the smelt until lifted out of water an inch.  Usually we get a couple over 2lbs, but they've been small and finicky this year
