Lol, I do, after 150 one afternoon that took hours, but was teaching my boy how to, I'd rather not do that many again.

If cleaning by myself 25 is a good number , if I have someone cutting  rib cages 50 is a piece of cake

to make life easier and the job go a lot faster I bought a skin zit and use it for the rib cages.  Got it when gander was getting rid of their fishing stuff cheap.

Tag team them.  I use an electric knife and my wife cuts out the rib cage.  Try not to do more then 75.  Haven't done more then 40 in several years now.

25, but I occasionally set-up a chair and radio in the basement and do a full bucket over several hours.

I grew up with a man that never wanted to any perch, regardless of size. When he was a boy the gang (probably 4 -5 guys + my Dad) would go to Madison, catch a giant pile of perch and let 'em freeze on the ice. Then they'd go home and the old goats would sit around smoking, playing cards and sipping brandy while the old man was down in the basement cleaning at least a couple hundred perch. Often more.

For me gotta be pretty nice perch for me to monkey with. 9 inches if they're chunky up to 11 - 12. And then I'm only good for whatever a couple meals is, no more. I'm a jerk. Don't fish for the neighborhood, let 'em go catch and clean their own  ;)2
To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!

Did 65 last night and that was enough for me. When it's Cascade perch it's not that big or a deal as they are big and fast to clean. The little ones from other lakes are a pain. Buddy of mine hit up a no limit lake a few years back and they caught 700+ and it took them like 6 hours to clean them all. No way I would do that.

I normally take between 10-15 panfish (bluegill, perch, crappie) home with me. That’s enough for two meals for the wife and I.

35 years ago I used to clean 4-50 of them with a Mcguyver knife, didn't have a fillet knife.  Once a got a fillet knife 30-40 perch could be done in an hour.

In South Dakota our legal limit is 15 (perch, bluegill, or crappie) but being a single guy who fishes a lot, if I keep it is 6-10 fish.  No need to keep more than that and I eat fish twice a week on average.

I have a 10 liter dry bag that is my carrying capacity ( about half a 5 gallon pail). On Lake Cascade, that can be as few as 12 perch, no more than 20. I am retired, and can fish all I want, so I always have as much as I can eat, and end up throwing back most of the fish I catch anyway. No sense making it a grind at the end of a long day.
