Good Morning Jeff, Morning Everyone,
Cloudy and 26* here this am, high of 35 today. Happy Friday Eve!  ;D

Jeff…glad your project went well yesterday and got the thumbs up, awesome!     I saw on my weather app they’re now showing 2-3” of snow for tomorrow, snow showers for Saturday and 12” -plus Monday-Tuesday, Doh!
FH4…those above freezing temps heading your way will feel like Spring weather compared to what you’ve been dealing with!  ;D  Good to read things are moving along at the plat.   Any word on the new boat?
Bud…those rocking chairs fit right in, enjoy!   How did you make out with your AR, is it ejecting properly now?
Wally…I finished reading the article this morning.  :cookoo:  Sounds to me like a better pilot plan would be to reopen up all the prisons  Cuomo closed again, and hold these DA’s accountable for the crimes committed by the gang bangers after  they’re  released. What’s happened to our country?  :%$#!:
Marv…hope the snow stays on the light side today!
H2…any word on Amber’s car? Not seeing much for warmer weather conditions to help getting the sap running for your nephew…hopefully it won’t be long.
Z…hope the audit is going ok!
OG…inching closer to the March Madness games…

Yesterday’s appointment went ok, biggest issue was dealing with the traffic going and returning home with the afternoon appointment. Found a few decent sales at the grocery store…but continue to be sticker shocked with the price of goods like everyone else.
Believe we’ll be doing some grandparents time today watching my grandson Emerson for a couple hours. Cawfee’s still on!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

24* this morning. Had to have Amber to work at 4 again this morning. The transmission is shot in their 2017 Nisson.

My nephew is getting ready to start boiling this weekend. They were boiling water and cleaning everything yesterday. He has a friend who has stopped boiling because he has run out of wood so he is going to give him his sap.

Not much planned for today, be safe....h2l

Good Morning ER's 33* here not sure if it will be going up or down. Dave awsome video of Ice castle. I liked the slide touch. Bud hope your foot heals up good. IW great job on work and fishing, I would just go fishing but ma has turned into a runner now and she needs to be watched. I did have a first this year on one outing same lake-different spot-every fish out of 1hole was a keeper. Good wishes to those getting vehicles fixed. Hope all are on way to great health.

Good morning everyone

27 degrees with a nuisance snow of 2"-3" overnight. Looks like the refreeze is causing lots of problems on the roads this morning. I am guessing my wife will work from home today.

I Just wanted to stop in and say "Hello!" before heading out to scrape then taking care of a couple errands.

Hope you all have a good Friday  Stay safe and keep healthy.

We're heading west today for an outdoor show in Buffalo and to visit with some friends out there, staying overnight as there's supposed to be some sloppy/nasty weather later today/tonight  ::)  Tomorrow on the way home there's a fishing flea market/swap meet we're going to be checking out  ;)

12* and clear.

WS, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Amber and her boyfriend got a new (to them) 2020 Nisson. I don't get involved! I did take them to the dealer.

WW, the guy who is giving him the sap is getting 300+ gallons a day. As a crow flies he is only about 8 miles South but makes a big difference in temperature.

Hope everyone has a good day and be well....h2l

Well no new pictures from the boat yet. Looking at picking it up in 2 weeks. Been a busy week but got through it and on to the weekend. Was hoping a fishing trip this weekend but not sure. Have a get together for planting and wine that a local company puts on. Always a good time and good food do not really care for wine so just skip that part. Windy and warmer right now. Maybe some snow tonight. Everyone have a great Friday night and a good start to the weekend, have a good one in these spring storms and stay safe.

               Good morning ER's,
It's 21* and snowing, I have about a half inch so far. ::)
Eddie...........I hope you got your truck to the repair sop and it's good to go now. It's a good thing you didn't make the trip up
yesterday, it was the slowest day I think I ever spent on the ice.
                         Wally...........Enjoy your trip.
Marv............I hate those nuisance snows, just like the one I'm getting now. :%$#!:
H2l..............I hope the new to Amber vehicle works out well for her. Congratulations to your nephew getting the free sap. :flex:
OG..............Your a good son looking out for your mother while she runs.
Fish.............I bet you're chomping at the bit waiting for the new boat.
Bud.............How's your foot doing? ??? I hope your daughter is feeling better from ner fall.
As I said when posting to Eddie, the fishing was slow, there a lot of people out there and it was the same for everyone. The ice was good in the
morning but got a little mealy but the aftrenoon. The problem is the shoreline, it's stating to deteriorate with the sun being so high.
Not much going on today, my daughter in law invited me to go to their house, there is going to be some target practicing going on. I might take
my 357 over and do some shotting.
I hope everyone has a good Saturday either at work or out. Stay Safe anf Healthy.

Good Morning Everyone,

Jeff…sorry to read the fishing was on the slow side yesterday. A buddy of mine took a drive up that way to Fish307and sent me a few pictures from the Million Dollar Beach area…might have you and Jon out there on one!  ;D  Truck is at mechanics but won’t be looked at until Monday or Tuesday was told.

H2…congrats to Amber and boyfriend on the new ride!   What a great guy giving your nephew the sap, amazing he’s getting 300gls. a day, wow!
Wally…hope you had great time at the outdoor show and find some good buys at the swap meet today! Safe travels on the return trip home!
FH4…excellent news on the new boat! Good luck on the ice this weekend, hope you find them hungry!
Bud…glad to read your foot is healing up without complications, beautiful. Sending best wishes to your daughter, hope she’s recovering well from that accident, dang!   Good news on the AR also…  What’s the new barrel chambered for?

Just getting ready to head out again and do the stairs, snow is just about done coming down. Not liking what the weather app is showing for Monday/Tuesday, might see another 18” of snow if they’re correct, Doh!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!

Good evening nice to be back, keeping it short my computer was hacked so had it checked over hopefully have avoided the Identity theft mess ZCm-82 is dealing with currently. Lots to catch up on with regards to this thread. The most recent storm started as rain on Friday night I woke up to ground and vehicles with light coating of snow on them paved surfaces just wet. Everything melted by this afternoon. Last accumulation of snow here was at end of February seven inches. Like others have another storm coming Monday afternoon/evening and going through Tuesday. so far it looks like heaviest snow fall will be North and West of my location.
IFF good to read your foot is healing well after the steak knife  incident. best wished for your daughter with recovery from her recent fall. Enjoy the Jayhawk games best to them in the tournament.
Wallyworld may the drive to Buffalo have been problem free. Enjoy the expo and fishing equipment swap meet. may you have safe travel home.
Tomturkey may your doctor/doctors have the MRI results  and it help with planning a course of action. May your wife be recovering good from her surgery.
Icefisher-45 I hope things are good for you and your wife.
Fish/hunt4ever have a good time fishing if you get out this weekend.  Curious were you able to get the extended warranty on the new boat's engine.
Drifter I hope temperatures have risen and you are in good health. Enjoy your time at the cabin may you be able to get some items checked off the to do list.
Zcm-82 may you be close to having the identity theft issue corrected. best to you whenever the audit is conducted.
Ice Wanderer be careful and have fun with what remains of the ice fishing season up there in the Adirondacks.
Hunts2long best to Amber with the new to her vehicle. May your wife's doctors have a better idea how to handle her stomach issues after the trip to specialist. Very nice of your nephew's friend to pass the maple sap onto him.
Whopper Stopper belated birthday wishes sent your way.
Eddie hope you and Mrs. Eddie had a fun day watching Emerson. May the mechanic get the repair done and truck back to you quickly.
Old Goat  nice of you to watch over/take care of your mother if needed get help so you do not over stress your self tsking care of her.

Remember to move you clocks head one hour daylight Saving Time starts at 2 AM on Sunday. Stay safe try to keep healthy. best to all fishing.

               Good morning ER's,
It's 17* and clear here on my hill ::)
Steve.........Welcome back to the morning addiction.  I hope the hackers didn't compromised any of your accounts. :%$#!:
Eddie.........I was hoping to read that your truck was fixed. :( I thought the appointment that far out, they  were going to work on it Friday.
We were a little farther in towards the beach and over closer to East Brook.
Marv..........I hope all the snow you did get is cleaned up. Did Jo make you favorite Chicken for your Birthday dinner. :woot:
H2l............Hopeful ly the guessers are wrong about the up coming storm and we get less than they are predicting.  Good luck at the lanes
               tonight.
Wally.........I guess you're still out west, safe travels home if headed home. :flex:
Yesterday my #2 son invited me to go to his house and do some target shooting with out Pistols. I've had a 357 magnum Ruger for 15 years, and
yesterday was the first day that I shot it. Huh. I got my pistol permit back then when there was threat of no new permits issued here. And back then you had
to have a pistol on hold at a gun shop before you applied for the permit. It was a crazy law.
Not much going on today, maybe some puttering.
I hope everyone has a good Sunday either at work or out. Stay Safe and Healthy.

Good Morning Jeff, Wally, Morning Everyone,
Welcome to daylight savings time again! Clear and 19*, warming up to 40 today…guess this will be the calm before the storm.

Jeff…glad you got some shooting time in with your son and had a chance to fire that 357, nice!   My mechanic has a small shop and is the only one turning wrenches. Apparently some of the parts delivered for a vehicle he had on the lift were wrong and were expected Friday afternoon. I’m not in a rush at this point..just thankful I’m not having to deal with it, lol.  ;D
Steve…welcome back, sorry to read of your computer problems, dang! Hope everything works out well for you with that also!
Wally…glad you had safe travels, a good time and found some deals!  Enjoy the breakfast this morning, hope it’s a good turnout!
H2…best of luck to you and the team this evening!
Dave…hope all is well up in the Great North and you’re getting some cabin time in!

Quite a bit of snow melted yesterday afternoon and hopefully more of that today. Weather app now showing possibility of 21” of snow between Monday/Tuesday..guess we’re paying the price for some of those 50* days back in January and February.  ;D
Not much on the planner yet today either. Believe a few family members might be stopping by later…Cawfee’s on!

15* and clear.

IFF, I bet you weren't very pleased with the way the game turned out. Just might "fire" them up for the big "dance".

Mr. C, nice to have you back at the table.

WW, glad you had a good time at the expo, won't be long and you will be back on the bike. Couple of the ice cream shops have opened.

The sap ran pretty good yesterday. They also loss some when the trailer jack-knifed and tipped up on it's side. Nephew wasn't hurt but it wasn't a good start to his day.

The "guessers" have no clue too how much snow we are to get, I have heard 2" to 2 FEET.

The pressure at bowling has been off for a while now.

Have a good day and be safe...h2l

Eddie, 3 more days of ice fishing season left.

Good morning everyone

32 degrees with the snow finally ending about 3 hours ago. I just got back in from scraping and blowing the 7" from overnight. It sounds like a couple more inches may fall around supper time. The guessers are all excited about a possible bigger storm toward the end of the week. I think they said we are now in the top ten snowfalls with 80" at the airport. I know were we are at it's closer to 84". I know it is getting very old dealing with it almost daily.

First off thank you for the Birthday wishes, I appreciated them all  I had a nice day even though my wife had to work. My s-i-l brought me out for lunch, then in the evening we had mashed potatoes and meatloaf, which is probably about my second favorite meal. To top off the night we had Rum cake and ice cream. I haven't  mentioned it, but earlier this year I found out I was drawn for a bear license for this fall. My wife bought me my bear tag and the s-i-l gave me some money to buy bear bait.

mr.clean...Welcome back  Hope your computer is bug free

IW...Sounds like a fun time shooting  We have some stupid laws to contend with also but I will drop talking about them as all it does is get me mad :cookoo: :%$#!:

Eddie...Enjoy the family time today

WW...Glad you had fun time at the expo   Enjoy the breakfast today, it won't be long and the bikes will be out......At least I hope so ???

h2l...I hear talk of syrup making here but I am betting the snow is going to cause some problems.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday  Stay safe and keep healthy.

Happy belated birthday Marv, glad that the dau was a good one. Congrats on the bear tag. Cannot wait to follow along with your adventures on that one.

Well another day at work. Guess they lost the UPA and I need to test, kind of figured that I would not since we do not store all the product right now as all our storage gets full and we have to send to commercial. But I guess that side is full as well with all the closed roads around us from the last storm. Well better get back to it and get today done with so I can get back home with the family.  Have a fantastic Sunday everyone

Well since I broke my auger and cannot find replacement parts, well all but the handle and do not think I can fix the plastic handle that well, so I found several online but i found one in sale I could not pass up in midway. Got another eskimo, this time a mako, for around 300 bucks. Since I usually buy an auger every 10-15 years that seems like a good buy. I bought my shark around 2009. This will be the third eskimo auger I have purchased since 95. This time I went with a 10 inch since that was the only one they had, but I can always just switch my augers and go with my 8 inch too. Well got through another 6 hours of OT today and will turn in another 120+ time card for 2 week. Been a long month so far. Well everyone have a great start to your Monday hope the weather is not too bad for many, looks like we might get another storm, they are calling for rain to snow which might be bad for the snow on the ground, on Wednesday through Thursday. See what the next week brings and see if all goes well to get the boat the following Saturday.

Marv.........Thanks for the video, I bet Jen is upset that she lost one of her rabbits. :( I'm glad you had a nice birthday lunch.
H2l...........My weather app says 8 to 12 inches here. It looks like a slow moving storm lasting till Wednesday. :o

Eddie........I hope your truck get done quickly and the mechanic doesn't have to wait for parts.
Fish..........That's a lot of hours, When I worked for a construction company, we had a job working during a shut down at International Paper

Dave.........Hopefully you'll be getting some time at the cabin, we need some cabin porn. :woot:
Not much going on today just getting ready for the storm.

30* and cloudy.

IW, I am sure we are going to get some snow out of this one.

WS, great video, thanks. Good news on the bear hunt.

As bad as I bowled last week, I out did myself this week. 92 below my average. Two games under 100, we won 1 of 4 points. Glad the season is about over.

Eddie.....looks like your area is one of the higher snow total spots   :%$#!:  hope you had some nice family time yesterday   ;)

FH4......all that OT will come in handy with the new boat coming home soon  ;D

Breakfast was good yesterday, the FD surely raised a good $$ amount based on the number of people that were there   the club meeting was a LOT of blah blah blah    ::)

Not much planned today, just watching the snow pile up  :-\

Have a good day. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Good later morning,   Eddie the barrel is another 5.56 X45 NATO and will of course handle the 223 Remington, been advised by local gunsmith not to exceed 77grain bullets if using it for deer hunting?  Not sure what’s all available in 556 here locally.

Well I was hopeful the outcome would have been different in Sunday’s game, but not surprised seeing that coach Bill Self, wasn’t there with them.  Out with an illness.   Think selection committee had already made up their mind to punish KU, as one blogger put it for thumbing their noises at the FBI investigation, and put them in the West bracket rather than Mid-West which is going to be a lot tougher to get to final 4. Or even sweet 16.

Winter has returned to the Tennessee valley for another few days according to the weather guesser. So I will be staying a little closer to the fireplace.  Daughter is staying put another day, to spend with her daughter on a day off from work.

Marv neat video I finally figured out it was Mr or Mrs 🦉 that was having rabbit for supper.  on the bear tag.

Back to my coffee cup for now hopefully the weather doesn’t treat anyone harshly

Bud

Well slowly getting the boat cleaned out and ready to be put up for sale. Man I did not think I could get that much crap in the boat, but I think it is cleaning up good.

Good evening, thank you for the welcome back greetings. Currently 39 outside and raining which will turn to snow overnight forecast calling for between 8-12 inches when storm ends on Wednesday. may all in this storm's path get through it in good shape.
Ice Wanderer glad you were able to do some target shooting with the pistol . last I knew there was a waiting list for pistol permits here in Orange county.
Hunts2long may the bad nights at bowling alley be out of your system and you bowl better next Sunday.
Wallyworld good to read you had a nice time at the expo and got to see some friends while on the trip. Nice to read the FD breakfast was well attended.
IFF good to hear the AR is now functioning properly. Best wished for your daughter as she recovers from the fall and for her trip back to TN. or home to WI. .
Fish/hunt4ever may you get a good price for your current boat once you post it for sale.
Whopper Stopper may you have snow cleared from the latest storm to hit your area. Thank you for the video your SIL may have to take the rabbit food in at night to prevent another visit from the owl as he or she hunts for food.
Eddie may you have your truck back. Guessing one of the grandchildren borrowed your tablet.

Hopefully those of us in the Northeast all see snow totals on the low end of what is forecast for our respective locations.
 Steve

Good Morning Everyone,
30* and steady snow falling, temps supposed to stay pretty steady all day in the low 30’s.

Just getting ready to go out for round 1, guessers calling for 20-26” at the moment in my area….going to be a workout with this storm. Catch up to you all a little later on ….Cawfee’s on!
Have a great day all, be safe, best of luck to those fishing!
