Is there still fishing access at Jewel.  There is no DEC fishing access sign on RT49 and I could not locate the access to the lake through the woods to the lake.  I see a gate with posted sign where I thought the access was.

lol!! I can sit there on the ice and fight those white perch all day. Crazy fight in them. I’ll stack em up on the ice and give them to the ol buzzard. 😁 I have no desire to clean and eat them.🤢🤮

black dot disease is propagated by fish eating birds, they complete the cycle of the parasite. the more you feed them the more chance they can poop into the water and then the fish can get the black dots...
