Best Ice Cleats? Which do you have?

LL Bean traction mini spikes with the Boa Closure system they fit pretty well over my Mickie Mouse boots. I did see that they changed their design to a Korker type spike instead of the punched metal like I have.

I see the majority of people responding are favoring the Kahtoola MICROspikes. I just wanted to add I've had mine for roughly 10 years now and they are just starting to show signs of the rubber dry rotting. Hands down one of the best investments I have made for ice fishing.

Ice racing screws

Kold Kutter Screws are all I use👍   My mother-n-law loves me for them.  Screw 4-5 either in the front or heel of boot you’re ready to go.  Use a nut driver - they’re sharp!

All others will fail and come off your boots.

I have a set of Yak Trax Diamonds. They work great on ice but pack with snow after you get them wet.

Thinking the spike style might not do this.  Looking for reccommendations.

I have worn a bunch, but if you want something better than Microspikes for durability.  Try YaktraX SUMMITS.  Has all the same points of contact of the micro spikes but you ditch the rubber.

Those are what I use most of the time. I use Kahtoola MICROspikes if there is thicker snow over slick ice.
