I've been away this weekend. How did the ice hold up with the rain?

Fished on small lake in southern Hunterdon today. Edges were sketchy and there were some large drain holes that had refrozen. The parts that were still white and raised from snow were about 6" the rest was about 4.

I live in pretty northern Jersey, Fri there were small ponds either open or full of water on top. Sunday the lake I fished was totally good, plenty of thick ice. Thinking it’s gonna get questionable quickly though with the forecast this week. Got a few friends hitting a big impoundment today, I may or may not go.

I was out on Monday in North Jersey, just south of the water gap, ice was fine, solid 8-10 inches

I was on Waywayanda yesterday and it was still 11" and the shoreline was solid. That's going going to change over the next few days with temps predicted to be in the 40's.

Buddys of mine on a big Sussex lake today, said 12” of good ice with no soft edges. The smallest ponds I noticed were getting wet edges. Another an hour south said good ice there as well but didn’t relay thickness. I didn’t personally make it out.
Another buddy on upper Greenwood said good ice there, friends Thursday at a Passaic county lake said 8” solid, few soft on top

Any reports on any safe ice after the warm temperatures and rain?

Bring a plank. Edges are toast
