2013 ICE

Looking at the forecasts from Farmer's Almanac and others, it seems like the prediction is for a much more "wintery" winter this year!! I sure hope so because our area has been lacking in decent ice for several years!! But I won't believe it 'til I see it!! How about everyone else?? We've got awhile until ice , so let's kill the time yacking about it!! Getting ready?? Bought new gear?? Let's hear from ya!!

after last year im not going to buy too much pre-season.  with that being said, if the almanac is right, ill be making quite a few in season purchases.

I sure hope the almanac is right my son is already talking about ice fishing.   I bought a jiffy pro 4 on our last trip of the year last year I am ready to shred some ice with it.  :tipup

We better get some decent ice in Iowa since I'm pulling the trigger on a snowmobile this year.  Next step in becoming a better tournament ice fisherman is to be able to be more mobile so this is one of the last things I really need.
