Salmon run!

Well I got out Sunday for a couple hours and hooked a couple salmon that appear to be in their "spawning" colors?  These little fellas were full of milt and Oozed when grabbed.  They were about 17" or so and had some pretty copper coloration.  Great fight on two pound and microlite noodlerods!  Did get a pike about 7 lb. on the same gear, great fight.

Whats your plans this weekend?  should be some HOT weather ;D.  I want to get out to harding and go for some big char and lakers...Anyhow just courious if you wanted to try out there before ice out.

Jake,  It looks bleak!  Working Saturday...Sunday is "iffy".  Next weekend looks possible?  May need to pull some hours then, but we'll see!  If interested, you need to come along with me pike, salmon, and char fishing?  Hooked a 5 lb. char last week, nice fish!
