What is this country coming to

This is the latest problem from this Government shut down per our DNR website

U.S. Forest Service (USFS) officials informed the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) today that all developed facilities owned by the USFS are being closed because of the federal government shutdown.
The facilities the USFS is in the process of closing include all concrete boat ramps, outhouses and campgrounds. This includes the boat ramps at waters such as Strawberry, Flaming Gorge and Pineview reservoirs.
The only good news the Utah DWR received is that roads on National Forests remain open. Also, anglers should still be able to fish from the shore and from small boats that can be launched by hand.
There may be additional closures on federal lands, but the DWR has not received any other information at this time.
Please encourage hunters and anglers to keep federal closures such as these in mind when planning recreational activities.

so much for launching my boat at pineview this weekend for some fall crappie and perch :%$#!: :%$#!: :%$#!:

Just move the barriers out of the way. Who's going to stop you? There's no one to enforce it. And if anyone Ty's to enforce it, just say that the barrier was moved and it looked open when you pulled up.

well its actually a gate but I think I know where they put the master key with 2 big long red handles on it  :whistle:

that sucks i am going hunting in a week but its all free camping so it wont hurt me and i do not have a boat but this shut down needs to stop

Well partial good news is they reversed the decision for the ramps but its still in effect for every thing else  :-\
