In Illinois it is illegal to operate a riding mower intoxicated.  I don't know if that includes on the ice.

put a lighter synthetic oil in both the engine and 20/50 synthetic in the transaxle. I plow my driveway with my mower, never had a problem in the winter - chains are a must.

 I don't think it makes a difference what state you are in, operating anything you can sit on and ride while drunk will get you a dwi.     Some great stories though!

You can get a DWI on a pedal bike. I know someone that has. He's an idiot.

Here in NYS you can't get a DWI on a bike has to have a motor

Put some chains and weight on those rear wheels, swap the mower deck for a blower and go wherever you wanna go  ;D

I have seen a mower on glare ice before seemed to work pretty good....

That was the "Hovercraft effect" that happens only on glare ice.
