Link to video is already gone... I'd be interested to see the context of the clip. Years ago I killed a 45" musky contrary to the rabid C&R mentality that was popular at that time. I'd taken a hook, well past the barb, from a 5/0 treble in each hand while still "handcuffed" to the thrashing fish. My choice was getting my hands/tendons all ripped up or fish mortality. Yep, I saved my hands, but at a cost.

Stomping a fish in the parking lot? Still like to see the context and hear the narrative from other than "sources".

Disturbing was probably a bad choice of words. Odd that they'd do that out in the parking lot for everyone to see, should have put them in bins and took them behind the store to kill them.

Chilly thats awesome, those flames are friggin cool and timed just perfect throughout the music. Finally made it out on the soft water yesterday and had a great time. Between 3 of us we boated 3 tiger musky and lots of chunky smallies up to 17in. Had a dry cold front move in and get them all fired up. Good start to the boat season

Nice Ferris mower Dacker. It's a small world. I used to make the caster arms on the front of that mower. Actually, I made the machine that does the bend. Once Briggs & scrapiron bought out Ferris the engineers redesigned those parts out. I sold my remaining inventory, and tried to sell them the bender. They had better ideas. Might be hard to find replacements if you bang one up, but I might just have a couple laying around.  ;)

Not the newest one around but other than oil changes , and taking those heavy duty mulching blades to be sharpened it works for me.. ;)
And I will keep you in mind if I hit a tree and bend something... ;D

Went fishing at a new spot on Friday, tried to walk down a steep concrete embankment, slid, tore my knee and hands up pretty good and ended up chest deep in the water, thankfully was able to regroup and climb back up the hill. But my gear had went flying and sliding down in to the water. I was able to run back to the truck and tape a net and bed extender bar together and net most stuff but lost my Tacky box with almost all my spoons. Slender spoons, Z-vibers, flashbangs, Kastmasters, Swedish pimples, buckshot, Perch talkers, etc... In Pennsylvania fashion an hour later it down poured to the point of flooding, so later the next day I went and bought a magnet (150lbs) and took a kayak back to try and locate it, no luck. Water pre flood is like 12-15ft at the bottom of the embankment. So I ordered a much stronger magnet (450lbs) today hoping, maybe by some slim chance I'll find that box of gear. Don't care about the other small stuff I couldn't recover (hemostats, loose hooks, hook puller, etc) but that was a pretty pricey box and some of my favorite gear that I use all year around. I'm glad I ended up with only a few cuts, but pissed at myself for keeping all that gear in one box. Maybe I'll get lucky?

WOw that is a bummer, I would be broke replacing my tackle box which holds hundreds of lures. Not to mention all the other stuff in it.

Ughh that does suck, as a self proclaimed lure recover specialist/treasure hunter.i magnet fish and metal detect lures often. Most good spoons are made from chrome plated brass and its hard to retrieve just by the hooks alone in water.most times i only get cheap stamp steel spoons on my magnet.i would however get a neodymium rare earth magnet.super powerful compared to a harbor freight or regular magnet.the pull difference is crazy ,my 450 cant pull a rake off the ground but my neodymium mag thats the about the size of a quarter can pick up a pedal bike.anyways good luck i still remember when i lost a box full of fiskas..

That's what I ordered, my brother is big into metal detecting and knows all about this kinda stuff. He said this one lifts dollies and bikes outta water in videos. The box is probably 5+ lbs so hoping there is enough steel in there or that the magnets in the lids are strong enough that the magnet attracts them. The flood waters coming in through the 8ft culvert right beside where I went in is my only concern, hoping they didn't wash it to far around the pond or that the culvert steel doesn't make it impossible but we'll see. If I'm not lucky I guess it gives me a reason to go buy more fishing gear.

I did similar a few years ago, my anchor was stuck while on the boat so me and my brother wrestled it up. It pulled up a whole tree that was just full of trolling and deep-diving lures.
Maybe I'll get lucky and find enough lures to cover what I lost lol
