I have a strike master Lazar Mag and when I give it some throttle it squeals when the shaft starts to turn. I believe it needs some grease and would like some info on how to re-grease it .  Thanks

your symptoms sound more like a bearing than a dry gearcase.  none the less.  remove the auger shaft.  drain gas from tank.  tip on the recoil asm.  there are 5 or so  torx fastners on the bottom.  i believe they are a t-27.  remove those  then slowly remove bottom cover.  grease if necceassary and put sometype of sealeant on the cover flanges.  once the cover is off check the bottom bearing for discoloration,  ease of spin. if you need a diagram  you to  www.drockicecenter.com  click on paerts and service,  then choose your auger  they give you gearcase breakdowns.  good luck
