just wondering if anyone has heard of this device that attatches onto an auger shaft then springs open.then you pull up on the auger and the attatchment blade cones(angles)the bottom of the ice hole for easier fish retrieval.

I've heard of them, but it's been a long time ago, wasn't it back in the late 70's or 80's they first came out????  I don't know a single person who ever bought one of them....

Yup.....Plan on it jamming and having to get wet trying to get your auger bit out. Good concept...bad product.
